Privacy Notice
Last updated 14 August 2026
This notice explains how Third Eye Media processes personal information submitted through The Third Eye Production Partnership application. We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, commonly known as POPIA.
Who is responsible
Third Eye Media is the responsible party for personal information collected through thirdeyemedia.co.za. Our Information Officer is Trevor Gomo. Privacy questions or requests can be sent to info@trevorgomo.com.
What we collect
When you submit The Third Eye Production Partnership application we collect your full name, work email address, phone number, company name, job title, and optionally your website address. We also collect the production requirements, challenges, timing and budget range you select, and any additional context you choose to write.
We record basic attribution information with your application: the page you applied from, the referring website, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed.
Most of this information comes directly from you. Attribution information comes from the page or link through which you reached the application.
Please do not include sensitive or special personal information in the free-text fields unless we specifically ask for it.
Why we collect it
We use this information to review your application, understand your production requirements, contact you about your application and, where there is a fit, prepare and present your 90-Day Content Plan. This processing is necessary to respond to your request, take steps towards a possible service agreement and pursue our legitimate interest in managing genuine production enquiries.
We may also retain limited records where reasonably necessary to protect the application process, meet a legal obligation, or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
We do not add applicants to a general marketing list, and we do not sell or rent application information.
Required and optional information
Submitting an application is voluntary. Fields marked as required are necessary for us to assess the application and respond meaningfully. If you do not provide them, we may not be able to review your application or contact you. Fields marked as optional may be left blank.
How long we keep it
Applications that do not result in a client relationship are kept for up to 12 months after our last meaningful contact. If an application results in a client relationship, relevant information may be kept for the duration of that relationship and for any additional period required by law, contract or a lawful business purpose.
When we are no longer authorised to keep personal information, we delete, destroy or de-identify it.
Who can see it
Your application is available only to authorised Third Eye Media team members involved in reviewing and managing production enquiries, and to service providers that operate the website, form and data storage on our behalf. This includes OpenAI, which hosts and operates the site through ChatGPT Sites and processes hosted application data on our behalf. These providers may process the information only for the services they perform for us and must protect it appropriately.
We may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Processing outside South Africa
OpenAI and other service providers may process information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient is subject to a law, agreement or binding terms that provide an appropriate level of protection as contemplated by POPIA. We do not state a particular hosting country because processing locations depend on the services and agreement in use.
Form drafts stored on your device
If you start the application, a draft may be saved in your browser for up to 24 hours so that your progress can be restored after a refresh. This draft is stored on your device. You can remove it sooner by clearing this site's browser storage.
Website and embedded media
OpenAI may process basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested pages and request times, to host, deliver, secure and support the site. The site also uses services supplied by Google, including Google Fonts and embedded YouTube content. When these resources load or you play an embedded video, Google may receive technical information and process it under its own privacy terms.
Cookies and analytics
We do not currently load advertising or audience analytics tags on this landing page. Embedded media providers may use cookies or similar technologies when their content loads or is played. If we introduce non-essential analytics or marketing technologies, we will update this notice and provide any choice required by law.
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your rights
Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access to it, ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, request deletion where we are no longer authorised to retain it, or object to certain processing on reasonable grounds.
To exercise these rights, write to info@trevorgomo.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.
